My life is unique. A kind of rewarding unique, but imperfect. My life is also filled. Filled with joyful, raw emotion and not free of challenges. When I look at our family images, I don’t see flawless people, I see the tender touch of my husband on my arm or the genuine smile of one of my twins. I see real people, real life, real emotion that evokes memories every single time I pass that gallery wrap grouping (my absolute favorite). I have decorated my home with art. I have decorated my home with my life. My life as art.

My philosophy with my clients: showcase your life as art for your home. 

I strive to capture authenticity as a celebration of YOU or YOUR FAMILY. When I want a smile, I will give you reason to smile to avoid those forced faces. My clients are calm, comfortable. We take our time during a session, maybe share a funny story or two, but we all remain real, just “being”.

My work has been described as natural and relaxed. My sessions are easy-going in unique and different locations. I am often seen lowering my camera during a session to play a game or enjoy the happy moment. I like connecting with my clients with my eyes and body language as well as my camera, because if I don’t share who I am, how can I expect my clients to share who they are?
I am the mother of five children, which requires a relaxed state in it’s own right, but a skill that lends to my photographic work rather well. I want sessions for my family to flow smoothly, but genuinely and authentically. I take our images and turn them into art for my home. THIS is what I offer all of my clients – LIFE AS ART.
