Two adorable little boys + my favorite field + a very creative mom + a very patient dad = a delightful carey anne photography session
I knew when Jackie, author of Our Scott Spot, contacted me about a session for her boys, I’d struck gold. She’s creative, she’s crafty and she has a ton of energy! Jackie used her pinterest love and her knack for finding ways to make ideas come to life during our time together and made my task list a wee-bit smaller, honestly.
The session began with lots of props, including old tires Jackie and her husband found by a dumpster and painted, and two handsome boys. As a photographer, you arrive at a session with a plan. As a seasoned photographer, you know that children will alter said plan, but you also trust that during the alterations, the true child will appear and captivate your heart. This is what happened with the Scott boys. And I couldn’t be happier!
We jumped from prop to prop and used our surroundings according to the boys’ schedule. If there was interest in the balloons, we used them. If there was interest in the tires, we used them. If there was interest in the grass…. well, truth be told, we tried not to use it when it came to little man’s fascination with giving it a big ol’ taste test.
I had an amazing evening with this family and feel blessed they chose me to capture their children’s moments.
